Rapha Family Services provides the following services to the Miami-Dade and Broward Families:
Mentoring Families Program
The mentoring program seeks to assist parents to reach their goal of reunification through guidance and encouragement. The mentors will be a support system for those families in the child Welfare system.
Independent Living Program
Life Skills Classes will assist those youths and young adults who are aging out from the foster care system.
Model Approach to Partnership in Parenting Program (MAPP)
Our agency’s goal is to recruit and train Foster Families
who are willing to open their homes to those children who are in need of a safe and nurturing environment.
Parenting Program
The parenting program seeks to teach parents the necessary skills that are paramount in enriching the lives of their family members. Rapha, Inc. utilizes the Nurturing Parent curriculum, which has been proven to teach parents how to be successful in raising their children. It is an evidence-based curriculum consisting of a pre-and post tests and observations. The Nurturing Parenting Model has been built on seven philosophies. These philosophies emphasize the importance of raising children in a warm, trusting, and caring household. It is founded on the belief that children who are cared for develop the capacity to trust, care, and respect themselves, other people and living creatures in the environment.
